Packing for our Getaway …

Packing for a family of 5 can be hectic but this is how I recently packed for our trip down to Dunsborough . We stayed 4 days, 3 nights at the Ramada Resort by Wyndham and it was absolutely perfect! What we packed this trip was very different to the first time we took all 3 kids away with us as the first time round I packed way too much! Lesson learnt!

For the twinnies –

  • 4 sets of clothes one for each day plus a spare (if you include what they wore on the drive down). I already have another spare set in the nappy bag too.
  • 1 set of PJ’s
  • A packet of nappies each (we took a packet from a huggies box)
  • 2 packets of wipes (note to self take more next time)
  • 1 packet of Zoono Wipes
  • 2 sets of dribble bibs
  • 2 sets of feeding bibs (one for nappy bag and one for room)
  • Riff Raffs and dummies
  • 2 jumpers each
  • Nappy Bags
  • Rileys inhaler just in case
  • White Noise Machine
  • A selection of toys and books but not too many
  • Kmart Camp Feeding Chairs
  • Love to Dream Sleep Suits
  • Sleep Over covers for cots and sheets
  • 2x Portacots
  • Bathers
  • Toiletries
  • Baby Panadol
  • Bottles and formula
  • Snack foods all 3 kids eat
  • Bedhead Hats
  • Sunscreen
  • Water nappies
  • Carriers

For Adelyn –

  • Her snuggie – Rabbi
  • Colouring in book and crayons
  • 4 sets of clothes and undies/socks
  • Bathers
  • Toiletries
  • Bedhead Hat
  • 2 pairs of shoes
  • Bike and helmet (totally didnt use once haha)
  • PJ’s

For Us –

  • Toiletries
  • Bathers
  • 4 days worth of clothes and undies
  • Jackets
  • Shoes

Other Bits –

  • Pram
  • Beach wagon (didn’t use this trip)
  • Some food bits for breakie and snacks
  • Games
  • Nappy Bag
  • Water bottles
  • Phone chargers

Pretty sure that was it but most likely with #babybrain I would be forgetting something! It seems like a lot now its all listed out but compared to our first trip away it was almost half the stuff! Crazy hey!
