We were kindly gifted the Junior pillows to try and review for all 3 girls now the twins are at an age where we can introduce a pillow. Like all products in the airnest range, the pillow is made from breathable materials, promoting air flow to help keep them cool while they sleep. Made from a recycled polyester filling, it is extremely durable and very easy to clean. Again, like all airnest products, the junior pillow is 100% washable – which is AMAZING! Especially if there is any sickness in the house. Both the inner and the cover can go in the washing machine and dryer, to ensure your child won’t be sleeping on any nasties! The cover is made from the same airnest-lite material as our mattress cover, it is 100% breathable, 100% washable and it is Oeko-Tex class one, classified safe for babies. An eco-friendly option; the filling is recycled, saving waste from going to landfill, and because it is so easily washable, you can use it for many more years than a standard pillow, or for more than just one child – which works well for us with baby 4 on the way! The pillow is suitable for children approx 18 mo- 8 years.

The twins were especially excited for their new pillows when they arrived and they laid down with them straight away! They just have one inner where as Adelyn has 2, to allow it to be higher for her. It is always a bit concerning introducing a pillow to a toddler with the risk of SIDS, but with the Junior Pillow I know it is breathable and can be cleaned.

Adelyn loves snuggling up to a pillow at night and can run a little hot so having such a breathable pillow allows her body to not over heat! The twins use the pillows without pillow slips on them and they do not find the material scratchy or uncomfortable at all. Adelyn prefers to have her pillow case over the top which is perfectly ok.
